Hanukah begins at sundown on Wednesday, December 1st - or if you're going by the Jewish calendar, the 25th of Kislev. Nebraska's Jewish community will be lighting candles and exchanging gifts for the next eight days. A Lincoln rabbi says the way Hanukah is celebrated comes from a creative tension with Christmas.
