Gina BrazellGina Brazell
Rapidly gaining recognition in the United States

Gina's love for live performance began at the age of eight when she was selected by world-famous conductor and composer Andre Previn to sing in a Jones Hall concert.

By age 13 she was acting, dancing and singing in "Kismet" with Howard Keel. Gina performed in many main stage musicals before she was 18.

Although she was accepted into Julliard's School of Music, Ms. Brazell opted for the West Coast and continued her studies in music, acting and dance at USIU in San Diego and USC in Los Angeles.

Ms. Brazell's broad vocal range and versatility have landed her a wide variety of roles, from a U.S. & Canada tour as Disney's Mary Poppins, to a Los Angeles theater performance as Sally Bowles in "CABARET".

Because of her love for children, her strong belief in the power of music and her gratitude for the early training she acquired in dance, music & theater, Gina works with young people whenever possible, either conducting musical theater workshops or performing in educational shows. She contributed a year of her time touring the U.S. for the President's Drug Awareness Campaign in the award-winning one-woman musical show, "I Believe in Me".

And now, after many years of traveling the world as an entertainer, Ms. Brazell is rapidly gaining recognition in the United States. Embracing a wide spectrum of musical styles, Gina performs in her concerts with amazing versatility an extensive assortment of the world's best songs of the 20th century, from pop, jazz, swing and Broadway. Her latest CD, July 2000, is a pop album of all original music, arranged and produced by Chuck Penington, musical director of the platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning New Age group Mannheim Steamroller.
