It’s been more than a year since Nebraska started feeling the sting of the recession. Are we recovering? What can we expect in the coming months? How healthy is our leading industry, agriculture? Who or what will be the post-recession winners and losers in Nebraska?

We’ll discuss these topics and more with a panel of economists who know Nebraska: Creighton University economist Ernie Goss; University of Nebraska-Lincoln Ag Economist Bruce Johnson; and Eric Thompson, director of the Bureau of Business Research at UNL.

The program will also feature perspectives on the economy and impact of the recession from government officials and business people from throughout Nebraska, and some of the nearly 5 percent of Nebraskans who are without jobs.
