The Old Windmill

When Art Kregel locked the door to his family business for the last time in 1991, it had been operating for over a century. Now, volunteers are working to transform the Kregel Windmill Factory (Nebraska City) into a one-of-a-kind museum celebrating 19th Century industrial technology.
Digging Up the Past

Indiana Jones makes archeology exciting in movies, but for Alan Osborn, Curator of Anthropology at the University of Nebraska State Museum, the real work is anything but dramatic. Osborn is searching for signs of prehistoric life amidst weeds and dead reeds of the drained Hugh Butler Lake.
The Life of Dr. Death

When he was a child, Tim Welch (Blair) lost the limbs on the left side of his body in a train accident. What might have caused others to tremble only made Tim rock solid. Tim has turned his misfortune into something he thoroughly enjoys, working as a special effects artist specializing in horror makeup.
Making Paint Move

Fans of stop-motion film will enjoy Michael Burton's work. Through a process called paintamation, Burton turns his paintings into smart, imaginative "paint in motion" films that leave you wanting to see more.
Jazz Cabaret

Smooth music to cap off the end of the show in style. Watch and listen to Tom Larson and the UNL Faculty Jazz Ensemble perform "Luke" a song Larson originally composed for a friend.
