My Marlboro Man - Info

Margaret Falotico Sibbitt was born and raised in California. For years, she had heard about the family ranch in Nebraska, and visited it each summer during her childhood. Educated at Wellesley College, the London School of Economics, Oxford, and the University of London, she traveled the world, but by 1995 found herself living back home in California. By the end of that year, life would never be the same for her. Her uncle died and left the ranch near Hyannis, Nebraska to her parents, brothers and her. She came out to do a quick inventory and ended up meeting the man she would marry in 1999, John Sibbitt. She now calls Nebraska "the good life," and wants to see development in rural areas come to save the people and place she calls home.

John A. Sibbitt is a third generation rancher. He inherited his family's homestead at the tender age of nineteen and built it back up from near bankruptcy to a reputable land and cattle company. For almost two decades he owned and operated the Alliance Livestock Auction barn in Alliance, Nebraska, as well as another auction barn in Gering. At the height of his ranching career, John flew his plane between five ranches and two sales barns. He has four grown children, two boys and two girls, all excellent "cowboys" who can rope and ride, and fly airplanes.
