"after the order" - Info

"after the order" is an alternative, guitar driven rock group from Alma, NE. The group started its quest in September of 1995. Luke Mills and Kris Pfeil met at Alma High School and began to try and build a group that would encourage people in their everyday lives. Starting the group under the name "Standing Stones", Luke and Kris added other members to the group and eventually changed their name to "after the order."

The guys toured all over the Midwest during their high school years and eventually built a fan base that both supported and loved the group. They started out doing shows for Youth Rallies and Lock-in events and soon found themselves playing bigger and better festivals. They have opened for national acts like "The Little River Band," "Bleach," "Skillet," "My Friend Stephanie," "Pillar," and others. Some of the festivals included Rockfest 2000, Party In The Park 2000 and 2001, Rock For Life Festivals, and JockJams 2000.

After "a.t.o." toured and released their second album, a few members left to experiment with other avenues of music. Luke and Kris decided to go ahead and record one final project and release it the next year. For that upcoming year Luke toured solo and worked with Kris on what is now the third album entitled "Tear Stained World." When time and resources became available for the new album to be released Kris and Luke met up with Bass player Tim Wilson from California. Tim had been touring in a group called ARC that was doing a run through Nebraska. A year later "a.t.o." would sign Tim to the mix. Not long after that Josh McNeal from Ohio was added to the group thus completing the group. Josh had also toured with Tim in "ARC" and was ready to take a chance on a dream that all four members shared.

"after the order" now tours the USA playing venues of all sorts in hopes of spreading a message of hope and truth to a world of uncertainty. They are also in regular rotation on a few radio stations in the Midwest and East.
