Legislative Wrap-Up

  
[April 16, 2004] – In 2004 the Unicameral tackled a few major proposals. Senators also spent a lot of time balancing the budget. Lagging tax revenue forced lawmakers to make cuts, but some feel they didn't do enough. Even with the budget problems, a few new initiatives did get approved. Statewide's Perry Stoner looks back at the highlights.
