OMAHA AUTHOR RICK DOOLING

 PERSPECTIVE

[December 4, 2002] - The New York Times Book Review calls Omaha-based author Richard Dooling “a maverick...who takes impressive risks.” Dooling is an attorney who became a novelist. His books tend to be smart and challenging. His latest, “Bet Your Life,” may be getting some mixed reviews, but the author routinely gets the attention of the nation’s literary writers. “Statewide’s” Bill Kelly caught up with Dooling in Omaha to talk about the subject of his latest novel – insurance fraud in Nebraska.
