THE WAR is a 15-hour, seven-part series that initially debuted on NET Television Sept. 23, 2007. This series tells the story of World War II through the personal accounts of a handful of men and women from four representative American towns. It was produced and directed Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.

The SHARE A STORY module, created by PBS for use by local stations, allows WWII veterans, their families and friends to submit stories about our veterans.
