NET has produced a number of programs focusing on Nebraskans and the parts they played in the World War II war effort.

MOST HONORABLE SON , a co-production of NET Television and KDN Films, about Ben Kuroki, the first and most famous Japanese-American WWII hero, will premiere on PBS (thus on NET) Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. CT. Click here for the website.

THE CANTEEN SPIRIT tells the moving story of the North Platte Canteen, where residents of 125 Nebraska towns gathered to offer food and support to millions of GIs passing through North Platte. See the program trailer here.

WAR LETTERS was an NET Radio production several years ago. The letters and audio files of the letters being read are now available on the Nebraska Studies website.
