On Sunday,
November 11, 2007 NET Television
proudly honored the dedication and
courage of Americans who have served or are
currently serving in the military with a special lineup of Veterans’ Day programming.
We are delighted to report that we received an overwhelming response to our Nebraska Veterans Honor Roll campaign. We received more than 4,500 names for the television broadcast, with an additional 500 late submissions which are included on this Web Honor Roll.
In order to fit all 4,500 veterans in our Honor Roll, we needed to make necessary abbreviations to the information that was submitted. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause, as well as for any oversights that were inadvertently made.
Our goal was to honor these veterans as the heroes they are, within the limitations of our broadcast medium. Thank you for your support and understanding.
