Confronting Hate :Building Communities is the culmination of a larger national community engagement initiative called Not in Our Town: Class Actions.- Nationally, Not In Our Town: Class Actions profiles students and community members who are creating change in the wake of racism, anti-Semitism, and the traumatic consequences of bullying. The local production is intended to create opportunities for individuals to have conversations around issues that communities may experience that stem from discrimination and intolerance such as bullying and anti-immigrant violence. Students from both rural and urban communities throughout Nebraska will take part in the televise discussion.
