In Search of Freedom - Nebraskans From Latvia

From 1986. This program tells the story of Latvians who emigrated to Nebraska over the past hundred years. The program highlights the presence of this ethnic group in our midst and points out and analyzes the positive contributions such a group has made to the state and demonstrates how such an ethnic minority preserves its own identity while still assimilating and contributing to the greater good of the state.
