A Prairie Home Companion Bus Trip
October 10-12, 2008


Take in the sights and sounds of Lake Wobegon as you travel with fellow NET Radio fans from Lincoln to St. Paul, Minnesota on our annual bus trip. Enjoy an evening with Garrison Keillor in a live performance of A Prairie Home Companion at the Fitzgerald Theater and more.

Highlights of the Prairie Home Companion Bus Trip include:

  • Dinner and a live performance of A View from the Bridge at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.
  • Tours of historic Victorian homes along Summit Avenue in St. Paul and an afternoon stop at Irvine Park, with a look at more homes in the Queen Anne and Greek Revival styles.
  • Dinner and a live performance of A Prairie Home Companion at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul.
  • Wine tastings along the Western Iowa Wine Trail.

Cost: $650 per person; $1,200 per couple, which includes: two-night hotel accommodations at the Embassy Suites in St. Paul; round-trip travel by luxury motorcoach; two dinners, three lunches and two breakfasts; tickets to A View from the Bridge and A Prairie Home Companion performances; all taxes, tips, baggage handling and admissions charges.
