State High School Volleyball Championships Broadcast Live on NET Television
LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 30, 2013) -- The top high school girls volleyball teams in Nebraska take to the court to determine which schools will lay claim to the state championship trophies on “NSAA State High School Volleyball Championships” airing live statewide on Saturday, Nov. 16, on NET1.
This annual championship competition will be broadcast from Grand Island’s Heartland Event Center with sportscaster Larry Punteney calling the action and former Nebraska All-American volleyball standout Kathi Wieskamp offering color commentary.
The championship match-ups begin with the Class C-2 finals at 9 a.m. CT, followed at 11 a.m. CT by the Class D-2 contest and the Class A championship match at 1 p.m. CT. The finals action picks up again at 4:30 p.m. CT with the Class C-1 match, followed by the Class B competition at 6:30 p.m. CT and, wrapping up the day’s action, the Class D-1 finals at 8:30 p.m. CT.
The volleyball championships will be webcast live in Flash on NET’s website (netNebraska.org). Webcasting of the series is a free service of NET.
