Astronaut celebrates Germany’s World Cup victory in space

European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst tweeted a victory picture Sunday from the International Space Station after Germany defeated Argentina 1-0 to win the 2014 World Cup.

Gerst, who hails from Germany, watched the final match from the ISS with crewmembers and even claimed would dedicate 11 orbits of the space station to the German team.
