LUX Center for the Arts presents "Generation: Ceramic Art & the UNL Legacy 1999-2013" curated by Gail Kendall, Emeritus Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The First Friday opening reception is March 7th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show on view through April 26th, features 14 of Kendall's former MFA students--each one a working artist in ceramics today.
Featured artists include: Autumn Cipala, Susan Dewsnap, Elisa DiFeo, David Eichelberger, Seth Green, Aisha Harrison, Matt Kelleher, Sean Larson, Joe Pintz, Kari Radasch, Monica Ripley, Jesse Ross, Sean Scott and Michael Strand.
LUX Center for the Arts is free and open to the public. Hours: Tuesdays through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. First Friday of each month, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Free parking is available on the west side of the building located in historic University Place at 2601 N. 48t h Street.
