UNL School of Music and the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts present the regional premiere of Tony Award and MacArther "Genius" Grant-winner, Mary Zimmerman's breathtaking new adaptation of Voltaire's CANDIDE. An optimist's journey through the best of all possible worlds featuring the celebrated music and orchestrations of Leonard Bernstein with contributions from the greatest lyricists of the 20th century--from Stephen Sondheim to Dorothy Parker.
