Previously performed to celebrate Abendmusik's fifth, fifteenth and twenty-fifth anniversaries, Felix Mendelssohn's epic masterwork, Elijah, brings the 40th anniversary season to a dramatic and climactic close. Kenneth Floyd, a graduate of UNL, who now sings with the Metropolitan Opera, returns to Lincoln to sing the title role in this performance which brings together the Abendmusik Chorus, Doane College Choir, York College Choir and Abendmusik Orchestra.
