Diabetes and Me Length: 59 min. 
What’s it like to be a high school athlete and wake up one morning and find out that you have juvenile diabetes?  What goes through your mind, how do you interact with your friends, coaches, teachers and parents?   How do you carry on a “normal life?”

Robert Kreikemeier of West Point, Nebraska is now a college sophomore at Kansas State University. He talks openly about his life with Juvenile Diabetes to an audience of young people and their parents.

Exploring the Wild Kingdom Length: 60 min.
Few television programs have had the impact of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. Each Sunday, it was watchd by 34 million viewers, serving as the very definition of television wildlife programming for a quarter century. It also helped inspire environmental consciousness in its viewers. Marlin Perkins, a widely respected naturalist, talked about wildlife in ways his audience understood and the programming mold of this television classic is copied by today’s TV wildlife shows and networks.

Soft Power Length: 30 min. 
This 30-minute documentary focuses on women's use of quilting as a form of expression. The project is part of a recently completed year-long study on global quilting traditions.

Broadcasting students Maika Bauerle and Michaela Stevens completed this portion of the depth report. The project was supervised by broadcasting professor Rick Alloway.
