Exploring the Wild Kingdom Length: 18:11 

Few television programs have had the impact of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. Each Sunday, it was watchd by 34 million viewers, serving as the very definition of television wildlife programming for a quarter century. It also helped inspire environmental consciousness in its viewers. Marlin Perkins, a widely respected naturalist, talked about wildlife in ways his audience understood and the programming mold of this television classic is copied by today’s TV wildlife shows and networks.

Our Water, Our Future Length: 56:00 
Omaha is one of over 800 cities in the US that needs to revamp its sewer infrastructure to meet EPA water quality guidelines. The cost of this venture will be expensive to the Omaha community and will take several years to complete. The studio program discusses a brief history of the Omaha sewer system; why the city must renovate its sewer infrastructure and what methods are being considered, how it will benefit the community at large; and finally, provide viewers with best management practices that can be implemented at home to help protect fresh water resources.
