Nebraska ETV Series Covers Money Management with Special Guest Chris Farrell on Live Call-in Program on NETV and NPRN April 23

"Nebraska Connects: Your Money" airs live Wednesday, April 23, at 8 p.m. CT (7 MT) on NETV

During these harsh economic times it is very important to keep a close eye on your money. Wealth management is critical and understanding investment and planning options will put you a ahead. Is the stock market the best place to put your money... what about money markets or retirement income plans?

Whether you're living paycheck to paycheck or living on your investments, tune in to the Nebraska ETV Network's second program in the "Nebraska Connects" series for helpful information on money management.

"Nebraska Connects: Your Money" airs live Wednesday, April 23, at 8 p.m. CT (7 MT) on NETV and simulcast on the Nebraska Public Radio Network. Hosting the live call-in program will be Chris Farrell of Public Radio International's (PRI) "Sound Money," which airs Saturdays at 11 a.m. CT (10 MT) on the Nebraska Public Radio Network (NPRN), and "Right on the Money," airing various times on NETV2*. Joining Farrell to answer questions will be a panel of professional advisors from the Nebraska Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Viewers throughout Nebraska may ask financial questions by calling 800-676-5446 toll free across the state or 472-1212 in Lincoln. In addition to calling in, viewers may send questions via e-mail to (neconnects@unl.edu).

This program repeats on NETV2 Thursday, April 24, at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT (10 and 3 MT) and Saturday, April 26, at 10 p.m. CT (9 MT).

Also, the public is invited to enjoy a free continental breakfast and question and answer session with Farrell Wednesday, April 23, at 7:30 a.m. CT at the NET building located at 1800 N. 33 St. in Lincoln. "Nebraska Connects" is designed to engage audiences in an ongoing dialogue about topics crucial to Nebraska's individuals, businesses, families and communities. Some of these local broadcasts and their associated outreach components will be tied in to upcoming national PBS prime-time programming; others will complement older PBS programs for which rights are still available; still others will have tie-ins to new programming by the Nebraska Public Radio Network (NPRN). "Nebraska Connects" is a production of University of Nebraska - Lincoln Television for broadcast on the Nebraska ETV Network and NETV2. It is closed captioned for hearing-impaired viewers.
